He was predeceased by: his parents, Gentle Hayden and Lithia Ellis Hayden; his son Sedric; and his sister Ella Marie. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Ann Whitaker; his children, Demetra (Neiman Singletary) of Beaumont and Derek Whitaker of Baytown; his grandchildren, Kellen Hayden (Ashleigh), Tacoma of Washington and Reshonday Kirby; and his great grandchildren, BreElle Williams, Ashyra Hayden, Leo Hayden and Olivia Hayden.
