She was predeceased by: her parents, Vesper Ion Armstrong and Maggie May Elmore Armstrong; and her husband William Alexander McFarland. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Gay Brock (David) of Baytown, Brenda May Horn (Robert) of Beeville, David William McFarland (Diane) of Carrollton, Georgia and Timothy Ray McFarland (Ann) of Port Lavaca; and her siblings, Jesse Armstrong (Betty) and Dorothy Madison. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery (8624 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77521).
