He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Platt and Merrel Lee Williams Platt of Baytown. He is survived by: his children, Madison Leigh Platt of Baytown and Eric Higgins of Baytown; his brother Jack; his sister-in-law Sydney Platt of Pearland; his nephew Craig Platt (Claire) of Houston; his great-nieces, Alice and Emily; his niece Brittany Verwers (Robert) of Pearland; and his great-nephews, James, Sam and Henry.
