He was predeceased by: his mother Johnnie Myrtis King; his sister Kay Frances; and his cousin Myrtis Marie Perry (family: Kurt Sherrod). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hays; his children, John Mark (Cheryl) and Kyle (Kim); his grandchildren, Zoe and Willem; his child Kelley Vercellino; and his granddaughters, Brianna and Kaitlyn.
