She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gerard Degens and Laurie Ellsworth Hunter Degens; her husband James "Buddy" Jones; her sister-in-law Caye Kominek; and her parents-in-law, James Ruby and Frenchie Jones.
She is survived by: her sisters, Suzanne Martin and Jill Conyer; her children, Laurie Meyer, Cindy McHenry (Steve) and James Ruben Jones Jr.; her grandchildren, Amanda Majeed (Kamran), Ashley McDonald, Marissa Donaldson, Kristopher McHenry (Hannah), Nicole Jones (Junior), Dominique Jones, Laura Katherine Jones and James Ruben Jones III; and her great grandchildren, Kinnisyn McHenry, Kyndall McHenry, James Avalos, Chelsea Majeed, Lilliana Avalos, Cayelee Avalos and Jace Avalos. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
