He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Tieman and Pauline Tieman; his wife Eva Ruth Tieman (Inman); his siblings, Joy Dell Heintschel, Raymond, Charles, Harold and Glen; and his wife Carol.

He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Doyle (Steve) and Stephanie McGowan (Donny); his stepchildren, David and Glena; his grandchildren, Ashley, Nichole and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Hailee and Wyatt; his siblings, Leon (Lynda) and Peggy Wehmeyer (Marion); and his siblings-in-law, Jack Heintschel, Elaine, Betty and Penny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many other family members.
