He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Henry Lee, Gladys Rockman Tanton and Lois Marie Spurgeon. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Laird and Becky Tanton Laird of Hankamer; his children, Hayley Brooke Spurgeon of Miami, Hunter Nolan Spurgeon of Miami and Hayden James Spurgeon of Miami; his sisters, Kandy Ann Perry (Donnie) of Hankamer and Savanna Brook Sanders of Hankamer; his close friend Makenzie Simpson of Baytown; his nieces, Bailey Ann Thompson and Madeline Jolie Sweeten; his nephew Brian Decota Sweeten; his great-niece Oakley Paige Cochran; and his pet Perrin. He is also survived by his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
