She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Thomas and Rosette Thomas; her brother Phillipe Thomas; and her sons, Joei Parris and Steven Casey.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Parris; her children, Freddie Harris, Peter Parris Jr. and Allyson Hill; her sister Martha Thomas; and her niece Mary Brown. She is also survived by many grandchildren and cousins.
