We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Janice Shipman (Baytown, Texas), born in Dayton, Texas. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Janice Shipman to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Paxton and Etta V. Paxton (Hopson); and her aunt Evelyn Paxton. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Shipman of Baytown; her children, Kelvin Shipman (Crystal) of Baytown and Kasey Shipman (Justina) of Hardin; her grandchildren, Luke, Rayna Shipman of Baytown and Kaden Shipman of Hardin; her sister Linda Boone (Carter) of Missouri City; her nieces, Jenny Ferris (Ted) and Ashley Boone; and her great-niece Gracelyn Ferris of Missouri City. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

Due to the current situation with COVID19, attendance at the graveside service will be limited as we continue to emphasize minimizing social gatherings and in-person contact with people who are not in the same household.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to New Life United Pentecostal Church in Liberty or Life Point Church in Daisetta, Texas.
