He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Robert Reisner of Wilmington; his grandson Sidney Wade Ripkowski (Maryann) of Simpsonville; his great grandchildren, Jack Devon Ripkowski and Kayla (Nick Ritter) of Simpsonville; his siblings-in-law, Jean Lee and Odell Wells of Baytown; his parents, Walter Gardner and Mildred Gardner; his sisters, Maxine Milligan and LaVerne Wells; his son Larry Eugene Gardner; his brother-in-law John Sidney Lee; and his nephews, John D. Lee and Ken Wells. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
