She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricio Martinez Rivera and Juana Martinez; her husband Odilon Contreras; her sister Irma Martinez; and her daughter Silvia Cervantes.
She is survived by: her children, Martha P. Ortiz, Lucila Contreras, Marina Johns, Alejandra Contreras, Joel Contreras Martinez and Roman Contreras Martinez; and her siblings, Matilde Martinez, Luisa Martinez, Arnulfo Martinez, Cirilo Martinez and Jesus Martinez. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
