She was predeceased by: her husband Gilberto Rivas Sosa; her parents, Clementina and Pablo; her siblings, María, Albino and Luis; and her cousin Mario.
She is survived by: her children, Maricela Vela (Jose), Martha Garcia (Misael), Gilberto Rivas (Maria) and Gerardo Rivas (Lina); her grandchildren, Suemmy Maciel, Cesar Garza, Blanca Zarate, Joaquin Garcia, Edith De Leon, Maria Morfin, Gilberto Rivas, Frederick Rivas, Yvette Rivas, Priszilla Rivas, Gerardo Rivas Jr. and Angela Rivas; her great grandchildren, Yamara Maciel, Idalis Lawson, DeAna Lawson, Gabriel Lawson, Michael Garza, Jenifer Garza, Mia Garza, Ruben Sosa Jr., Jaime Perez, Oscar Zarate, Johanna Garcia, Abram Garcia, Christian De Leon, Erick De Leon, Jorge Morfin Jr., Jayden Morfin, Angel Marie Morfin, Alianna Rivas and Alyssa Rivas; and her great great grandchildren, Ladi Maciel Williams, Kamara Mathis, Kailee Santiel, Jalani Brown, Kedric Mathis Jr., Kariana Sosa, Kaylee Sosa and Ruben Sosa, III.
