Gilbert Sartor Obituary
Gilbert "David" Sartor, 73, of Baytown, TX, passed away April 9, 2023, at his residence in Franklin, KY.
David was born May 31, 1949 in Baytown, to parents; Gilbert Calvin and Doris Dailey Sartor. A lifelong resident of Baytown, he had recently moved to Franklin, KY to spend time with his family and grandchildren. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, and attended Lee College, a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Unit in the U. S. Army, and retired senior procurement associate for Exxon-Mobil. He enjoyed going to Aggie football games, visiting with friends and family, playing with his dog, Sargeant, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Sartor was preceded in death by his parents, and infant son: Corey Andrew Sartor, grandparents: Odell and Emma Sartor, and brother-in-law: Jack Saunders. He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Susan Kelly Sartor, son: Christopher David Sartor and fiancé Anesha Deweese, sister: Diane Saunders, brother: Daniel Sartor, grandchildren: Avery, Annie, and Olivia Sartor, extended family members: Terry and Barbara Nell-Sartor of Teague, Texas and Orval Barger of Huntsville, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
