It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertie Mae Wheeler (Baytown, Texas), who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dwain Wheeler; her daughter Candace Maust; and her parents, Ernest Jones and Roxy Jones. She is survived by: her children, Joycelyn, Marie (Danny), Donna, Eugene, Lynda, Mark (Dee) and Ben; her brother Waylon Jones; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Carr and Patsy Jones. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
