He was predeceased by: his parents, Federico Villarreal and Catarina Rivera Villarreal; and his siblings, Juan Villarreal, Lydia Villanueva and Gilbert Villarreal.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Alice Cuellar, George Edwin Villarreal (Julie Ann) and Julie Marie Villarreal; his stepdaughter Vivian Cardona; his siblings, Fred "Oscar" Villarreal (Maria), Alfredo Villarreal and Angelina Guevara (Richard); and his grandchildren, Cindra Rae Cuellar, Harleigh Storm Mason, Adam Eric Mason, Brylan Tate Williams, Cross Pierce Williams, Madisen Brooke Williams, Blayne Oran Williams, Sarah Villarreal, Abigail Villarreal, Neveah Cardona and Gianna Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
