We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2024, at the age of 76, Gene Bennett (Baytown, Texas), born in Brownsville, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene Bennett to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bennett, Jr. and Mary Revils Bennett; and his brothers, James Bennett, Steven Bennett, Larry Bennett and Curtis Bennett.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Johnston Bennett; his children, Anne Dickens (Durrell) and Eddie Bennett; his grandchildren, Joseph and Sarah Dickens; his great grandchild Emma Dickens; his sisters, Sandra Magill (Keith) and Carolyn Bennett; and his sister-in-law Debbie Martin.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Lifegift.org or to Rollingbrook Fellowship First Baptist Church.
