He was predeceased by: his parents, James William "Bill" and Frances Page Clanton; his brother Tom Clanton; and his parents-in-law, Louis and JoAnn Hoffeld.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Clanton; his children, Carrie Lynn Parker, Kristen Stephens (Mike) and Shawn Britton Landry (Kate); his siblings, Susie Hunter (Bobby) and James William Clanton, Jr. (Ann); his sister-in-law Marlene Clanton; and his grandchildren, Corbin, Ty Haro, Laney Cherry, Novalina, Keyshawn, Emilia Landry, Peyton, Gavin Parker, Cori and Allie Stephens. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
