Frances E. Oliver Mandell Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances E. Oliver Mandell (Baytown, Texas), who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred McMicken Oliver and Will Oliver; her brother James R. "Pete" Oliver; and her nephew Jimmy Oliver. She is survived by: her husband Hal Mandell; her daughter Arlayne Mandell; her son-in-law Martin van der Straaten of Nijmegen; her son Lance; her daughter-in-law Angela Mandell; and her grandsons, Nathan of Colleyville and Samuel Mandell of Colleyville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Because of her lifelong passion and dedication to education, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Frances E. Oliver Mandell scholarship at the UT Health San Antonio School of Health Professions (link to follow).
