He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Montemayor Cantu and Aurora Montemayor Valle; and his brother Alvaro Montemayor Valle. He is survived by: his wife Marta L. Montemayor; his daughters, Patricia Montemayor, Araceli Montemayor and Rebecca (Michael Stubblefield); his grandchildren, Lyndsey, Lyanna, Lynden Lilley and Christopher Cobb; his mother-in-law Martha C. Lizcano; his sisters, Lydia Montemayor Valle, Aurora (Jesus Cabello) and Concepcion (Oscar Mata); his parents-in-law, Ray, Lydia Garza and Alberto Lizcano (Rubina); and his sisters-in-law, Joaquina and Ricarda Lizcano. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
