It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eula Faye Blackwell of Baytown, Texas, born in Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cullen Greer and Edna Greer; and her former husband O. L. Blackwell. She is survived by: her brothers, Reverend Hubert Greer of Mississippi and Dr. Willie Greer of Mississippi; her children, David (Erleen), Dawain (Janet) and Toni (Jim); her grandchildren, Kimberly (Stefan), Derek (Taylor), Brandon (Yesenia), Nicholas, Brent, Chad and Matt; her great grandchildren, Conor and Liam; and her close friends, Merle, Welton Cothern, Candi Frazier, Edna Langston and Dian Rosier. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
