He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Ruiz and Felipa Rangel Ruiz; and his siblings, Josephine Garcia, Raymond and Aurelio Ruiz.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Delgado Ruiz; his children, Caroline R. Browder (Tim), Delores R. Odom (Robert Carlton, III) and Carlos J. Ruiz (JoAnn); his siblings, Otilio Ruiz and Refugia Campos; his grandchildren, Danny L. Browder, Leslie E. Prince (Jace A.), Erik D. Odom (Kate Lee), Emily M. Odom, Michael A. Odom, Dalton J. Ruiz, Caleb A. Ruiz, Marissa Pereira, Erik Pereira and Alex Pereira; and his great grandchildren, Margaret P. Odom, Jacob L. Browder, Noah J. Browder, Forrest A. Prince and Emilia R. Prince. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
