He was predeceased by: his parents, Justus Hamilton Thompson and Claudia Mae Thompson; and his brother James Bradley Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Vada Thompson; his children, Melissa Ann Goodwin and Bradley Roland Thompson (Kristie); his grandchildren, Leah Nicole Spivey (Reid), Kody Ryan Thompson (Hailey) and Casey Bryan Thompson; his great grandchildren, Dawson Reid Spivey and Sawyer Russell Spivey; and his sister Patsy Stovall of Overton, Texas.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
