With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doyle L. Sumrall (Baytown, Texas), born in Marion, Mississippi, who passed away on March 12, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Sumrall and Cavie Mae Sumrall; his siblings, Linda Mahaffey, Hilton Sumrall and Sybil Alexander; his niece Phyllis Young; and his great-nephews, Damon Baldwin and Jacob Young.
He is survived by: his wife Rena Sumrall; his children, Kelly Sumrall (Carmen) and Jana Klaus (Danny); his grandchildren, Daniel Klaus (Evelyn), Brandon Klaus (Kimberly), Matthew Klaus (Brittany), Jennifer Cantu (Larry) and Joe Perez; his great grandchildren, Katelyn Klaus, Dylan Klaus, Olivia Klaus, Emma Klaus, Kyndal Klaus, Peyton Klaus, Gwyneth Ashenbrenner, Destiny Aschenbrenner, Andrew Cantu and Ariel Cantu; his brother Gerald Sumrall (Peggy); and his brothers-in-law, Gary Schrock (Ann Marie) and Robert Schrock (Janine).
The family requests any memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Mont Belvieu, Baytown Pregnancy Resource Center or any.
