She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae Pitcock Webb and A. C. Webb; her husband Billy D Walker; her brother Allen Webb; and also Trivette Walker.

She is survived by: her sister Jean Gunn; her children, Mary Walker (Jim Rice), Billy K Walker (Nancy Walker), Suzanne Walker Ramos (Rodney Ramos) and Gail Walker Hancock (Doug Hancock); her grandchildren, Ellie Barrett (Ember Barrett), Daniel Walker-Rice, Douglas Walker-Rice (Michelle Walker-Rice), Marilynn Suzette Pyatigorets (Andre Pyatigorets), Sarah Walker, Beau Walker, Ryland Ramos, Kacie Ramos, Mason Hancock (Alexis Hancock), Austin Hancock, Logan Hancock, Jaycob Hancock, Devon Hancock, Zoey Hancock and Zayne Hancock; and her great grandchildren, Nicolai Pyatigorets and Liam Hancock. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She accepted the increasing challenges of Parkinson's disease with grace, realism, and extraordinary strength.
