He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walmsley and Mildred Walmsley; his daughter Jamie Lynn; and his brothers, Jack, George and Tom.

He is survived by: his sons, Jim Walmsley, Stephen Walmsley and Christopher Walmsley (Tabitha); his granddaughters, Honey, Heaven, Hope and Chance Walmsley; and his fiancé Kendall Frazier.
