It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Vernie Reed of Baytown, Texas, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on July 8, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther William and Annie Louise Wheeler Reed; and his brother William Monroe "Bo" Reed. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Sproessig Reed; his sons, Luther Vernie "Luke" Reed (Tonia) and William Wayne "Billy" Reed (Nicole); his brother Jerry Wayne Reed (Gail); his grandchildren, Curtis William Reed, Austin Luke Reed, Kendal Wayne Reed, Brandon Curtis Reed and Katelyn Eileen Reed; his great grandchild Bryson Luke Reed; his nephew David Wayne Reed; and his niece Christina Louise Reed. He is also survived by numerous other relatives, and friends.
