He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rydbom; his daughters, Cari Rydbom and Cathi Rydbom Whaley (David); his grandchildren, Mikayla Kraemer, Marielena Smith-Rydbom and Ben Whaley; and his siblings, Ellen Rankin, Audrey Schauer, Roma Henderson, Georgia Waltman and David Koesel.
