She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Talmadge and Jewell Talmadge (Lumm); her husband Willett E. Laughlin; her sister Helen Hart; her daughter E'Vonne Laughlin Morris; and her son-in-law Jimmy Morris.
She is survived by: her daughter Cherie Laughlin Melendez (Joel) of Beach City; her grandsons, James'Bo'Morris (Erika) of San Diego, Justin Morris of Frisco and Adrian Melendez (Emily) of Houston; and her great grandchildren, Tate, Jameson Morris, Celeste and Ofelia Melendez.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memory Gardens (8624 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77521).
