It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benita Montalvo (Baytown, Texas), born in San Benito, Texas, who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcelino Claudio and Remigia Colunga Claudio; her husband Jesus Montalvo, Sr.; her sisters, Guadalupe Rodriguez (Pete) and Beatrice Baquera (Julian); and her brother-in-law Arturo Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Elvia Sanchez (Juan), Nelda Garcia (Arturo), Debra Hernandez (Dwayne), Teodoro Montalvo, Jesus Montalvo, Jr. (Deborah) and Raul Montalvo (Esmeralda); her sister Angelina Rodriguez; and her pet Tiny. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
