It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avalita Gonzalez of Baytown, Texas, born in Mathis, Texas, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Olivo and Refugia Olivo; and her sisters, Maria Barrientes and Juanita Samora. She is survived by: her husband Antonio Ray Gonzalez Sr.; her son Antonio Jr.; her grandchildren, Antonio III, Sirena and Marisa; her daughter-in-law Martha; and her siblings, Eva Rodriguez, Esperanza Ochoa, Rosalinda Olivo, Sandra Soliz, Ofelia Marroquin, Adam Olivo, Reynaldo Olivo and Martin Olivo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
