He is survived by: his wife Noelia Hernandez (Vela); his sons, Aurelio "Tuto" (Dalila Hernandez) and Noe (Isai Hernandez); his grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob Hernandez; and his siblings, Maria Samanego, Gloria Cruz, Lupe Hernandez and Lorenzo (Georgina Hernandez).
