He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Arreguin Vargas and Manuela Moreno Vargas; his wife Ramona Flores Vargas; his son Henry Vargas; his granddaughter-in-law Maria Cecilia Gonzalez; and his siblings, Ascencion Vargas Soto, Mary Vargas Rodriguez, Josefa Vargas, Benita Hernandez, Guadalupe Vargas Flores, Mateo Vargas and Teodoro Vargas.
He is survived by: his children, Felicia Gomez (Juan), Ramon A. Vargas and Robert Flores; his sister Remedios Cabrera; his grandchildren, Sofia Vargas, Rachel Vargas, Jose G. Gonzalez (Hadasa), Julie Gonzalez (Carlos), Sergio Gonzalez, Emily Gomez and Leslie Gomez; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Humberto, Mark, Issac, Aileen, Genesis, Sebastian, Savannah, Adrienne and Melanie. He is also survived by three great- great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
