Cindy Casillas wrote a sympathy message

“Ellen and Phillip, My heart breaks for the two of you with this latest loss. Your mom was fun, helpful and kind to me always. She really saved me with her love of opening boxes when we moved Joy back to the little house. I was paralyzed looking at a room full of boxes that needed to be emptied, and she just dug in! She was ever so proud of both of you. I will be praying for you both as you move forward. Love, Cindy Crow Casillas”

Vande Derrick wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Ellen and Phillip, I am so sad to hear about the loss of your mother. Allison was one of my circle of friends, that no matter how much time passed between seeing each other, we would connect and talk like no time had passed. She had a wonderful sense of humor and common sense. I loved talking with her. And I know she loved the two of you and you gave her great joy. She will be sorely missed.”
