She was predeceased by: her grandson Clinton Allen McGinty; and her siblings, Elizabeth Bayer, Ethel Wake, Johnnie Sue Vaness and Troy Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Stephens (Troy), Cindy Brown, Connie Miller (Russ) and Larry Acheson, Jr. (Kim); her grandchildren, Cody McGinty (Lydia), Kelly McGinty, Taylor Brown (Angela), Andrew Acheson, Sr. (Chantelle), Morgan Bullard (Cody), Garret Miller (Ashley) and Jacob Acheson; and her siblings, O'Banion Quinn, Barbara Micaletti, Gary Quinn and Evelyn Vacek.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (3321 6th St, Bay City, TX 77414).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 2438 or to Cancer Research.
