It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Texana Melinda Peter (Bay City, Texas), who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Miller and Helen Miller; her husband Jerry; and her sisters, Margie Baxter and Bette Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Linda, English, Mary Cudd (Mike) of West Columbia, Helen Peter of Sugar Land and Louis Peter (Debbie) of Cedar Lane; her granddaughters, Mary Helene, Elizabeth, Katherine and Rebecca; and her great grandchildren, Marianne, Madeline, Lilly, Olivia, Whitney, Anna, Leah and Miriam.
In lieu of flowers, Linda requested donations be made to the Matagorda Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Volunteers (Pink Ladies) at MRMC, 104 7th St. Bay City, TX 77414 or to the Bay City Public Library, 1100 7th Street, Bay City, TX 77414.
