He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster DeSoto and Rose DeSoto; and his siblings, Carlene Griffith and Junior DeSoto. He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Taylor DeSoto; his children, Natalie Friesenhahn (Darren) and Paul Ryan Remlinger (Bethany); his grandchildren, Dawson Friesenhahn, Grant Friesenhahn, Julianne Friesenhahn, Aaron Remlinger and Norah Remlinger; and his nephew Ron Proffer (Terressa).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (3321 6th St, Bay City, TX 77414). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
