She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Morris Smith and Virginia Forrest Tanner; her sister Chrysteen Marie Kuhns; her significant other Jon N. Claybourn, Sr. (Yet); and her sons, Christopher Morris Johnston (Veta) and Leslie Eugene Johnston.
She is survived by: her stepsons, Jon N. Claybourn, Jr., Guy Lane Claybourn (Christine) and Michael Lacey Claybourn (Diana); and her grandchildren, Lauren Schyler Broussard, Grant Christopher Johnston, Kayla Ballard, Stephanie Ramirez, Becca Claybourn, Guy Claybourn, Christi Batchelor, Jo Marie Salter, Michael Claybourn, Jr., Jennifer Calderon and Clarisa Claybourn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
