He is survived by: his wife Sandra Zimmerman Charnick; his children, Donna Marie Cruz and Ruppert "Rudy" Charnick (Beth); his sister Elaine Henson; his grandchildren, Erlinda Cruz, Jennifer Yanez, Ernest Yanez, Jr. and Ashli Brown; and his great grandchildren, Rylan Wilson-Brown, Annabelle Ward, Bellatrix Ward, Hayden Ward and Nora Ward.
