He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Martin Gavender and Rose Frances Hatchett Gavender. He is survived by: his siblings, Melvin Gavender (Rosalie) and Eloise Eitelbach (Bach); his nieces and nephews, Karen Schelsteder (Mike), Eric Gavender (Donna), Erin Delgado (Matt), Brooke Meyers (Phillip) and Megan Silver (Sam); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyssa Danford (Kyle), Michael Schelsteder, Marissa, Colby Gavender, Benjamin, Eleanor Delgado, Josephine, Florence Meyers, Livia and Everett Silver.
