Robert E. Knight Obituary
Robert E. Knight, aged 61, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family on May 16, 2024, after bravely battling an extended illness. He was born on April 4, 1963, in Freeport, Texas, to Joe C. Knight and Laverne Demmer
Throughout his life, Robert had an unwavering passion for helping others and a deep love for his family, friends, and community.
Robert was preceded in death by his Grandmother Cecil Faye Knight, his father Joe C. Knight, his uncle William "Bill" Knight, and his daughter Angela Elaine McCaskill.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Marsha Lynn Knight, his mother Laverne Demmer, his sisters Cheryl (Roger) Knight Clements and Lynda J. Horton, his brother Richard Knight, his daughters Felicity (Andy) Cavazos, Melaney (Jason) Clark, Christina (Rain) Shirck-Knight, his sons Cliffton McCaskill and Alex McCaskill, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other beloved family members.
His family and friends will continue to celebrate his life, and to honor his legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness.
Though Robert may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his kindness and generosity will continue to inspire others for generations to come.
