With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond John Kacal (Bay City, Texas), born in El Campo, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kacal and Mary Sliva Kacal; his son Stephen; and his siblings, Clement (Clem), William Kacal (Bill), Adella Ehler (Della), Evelyn Bartlett and Martha Sekula.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Marie Merta; his children, Kenneth Kacal (Melodie) of Bay City, Ronnie Kacal (Cheryl) of Brazoria, Sandra Reed (John) of Houston and Diana Gurecky (Edward) of Blessing; his great grandchildren, Mariel, Mya, Macee, Miles Kacal, Townes Smith, Emma Gurecky and Bennett Gurecky; his siblings, Joe Kacal of Alvin, Mary Warneke of San Antonio, Lucy Sydow of Pontonoc and Mildred Burt (Mille) of Marble Falls; and his grandchildren, Matthew Kacal, Lee Gurecky, Adam Gurecky, Cory Kacal, Mike Smith, Kyle Hart, Kari Smith (Kacal), Allison Frazier, Brittany Hart (Kacal) and Rachel Reed. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Holy Cross Catholic School.
