He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas Cantu Sr. and Maria Anita Garza. He is survived by: his wife Maria Leal Cantu; his children, Marissa Nicole Cantu (Rey), Nicolas Cantu III (Staci) and Joseph Anthony Cantu (Chelsea); his sisters, Irma Cantu Hulen (Robert) and Sandra Cantu Molina; and his grandchildren, Ciana, Aaliyah and Dominic. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
