Mason Standish Holsworth II Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mason Standish Holsworth II of Bay City, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Standish Holsworth and Ethel Irene Sirmon; his siblings, Thomas Holsworth and Phyllis Derrick; and his grandson Baby Boy Cornett.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Ann Hodge; his children, James Romine, Jan Hunter, Amy Holsworth and Suzanne Cornett (Shane); the parent of his children Linette Keton; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Kortni, Lauren, Lisa, Jack, Ava, Brandon, Faith and Hope. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hawley Cemetery (721 Co Rd 436, Blessing, TX 77419).
He was a Trustee with the MOPAC Foundation and a member of the Collegeport Day BBQ team.
