It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario A. Martinez in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mario A. Martinez to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Martinez, Jr. and Mary Louise Martinez; his wife Louann; his daughters, Avery (Ryan Harrington), McKenna and Meg Green; his siblings, Cecilia Martinez (Austin), Julia (Ernie Ebanks) and Charlie (Theresa Martinez III); his nephew Charles Martinez (Trevor Kent); his nieces, Nicole Martinez (Austin), Mallory (Demiko Dracket) and Annemarie Ebanks (Cayman Islands); and his great-nieces, Clarice and Addison Warnock.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the following organizations. Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA) Charities, • Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Foundation • The Humane Society and Adoption Center of Rockport, Texas.
