He was predeceased by: his former wives, Susana Perez Mejias and Maria Mejias. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Resendez Mejias; his children, Diana Mejias of Friendswood, Doris Munguia (Eddie) of Rosenberg, Sandra Mejias Barrera of Baytown, Ray Guerra, Sr. of Bay City, Manuel Stephen Mejias, Jr. of Cleburn, Norman Lee Mejias, Sr. (Arcilia) of Bay City, Freddie Mejias (Jolene) of Bay City, Victor Isaac Mejias and Joel Christopher Mejias (Jennifer) of Bay City; and his brother Pedro Trevino of Victoria. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 62 great-granchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
