She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Lamkin and Frances Lamkin; her husband James E. Ely; her daughter Megan Lewis (Chris); her granddaughters, Kristen and Emily; her son James Morgan (Laura); her grandchildren, Lucy and James; her son Matthew of Austin; her sister Mary Frances Barker; her niece Jennifer; and her nephews, Sam and Jason.
She was gathered unto God on August 10, 2020 after an extended battle with Alzheimer's disease and a short battle with Covid-19.
