He was predeceased by: his parents, Efrain Sanchez and Rosario Sanchez. He is survived by: his sister Rosa; his brother-in-law Jose Forcado of Bay City; his brothers, Albert Sanchez (Charlene) of Houston, TX, Efrain Sanchez Jr of Bay City and Jesse Sanchez (Amy) of Freeport, TX; his nieces and nephews, Gina Solis of Jesus, Linda Solis, Nicholas Sanchez, Briana Chavez (Daniel), Christian Sanchez, Victoria Sanchez and Isaiah Sanchez As; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hector Guevara, Noe Guevara, Elayna Cotero, Jessie Cortez, Daniel Chavez Jr, Eli Chavez and Dominic Ortiz.

Johnny was a caring, funny, and charismatic person; in continuance of his death, he gave the gift of organ, eye, and tissue donation.
