He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Jones Connally Laughlin and Avis Ann Laughlin (Moorehouse); and his wife Bobbie Sue Laughlin. He is survived by: his son Jerod Jones Laughlin; his daughter-in-law Wendy Mealer; his grandson Jaspa John Laughlin (Vickie Jones); his siblings, Mary Lou Fitzpatrick of Austin Texas and Tom; his sister-in-law Charmaine Laughlin of Justin Texas; his brother Joseph; and his sister-in-law Theresa Laughlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Coastal Conservation Association (ccatexas.org).
