He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ansel Mahaffey and Grace Mae Anderson; his son Roland John Mahaffey; and his siblings, Frances Kelly (Paul), Dorothy Clement (Robert), Erma Childress (Bill), Bob, Frank, Earl and Jack Mahaffey.
He is survived by: his wife Erizola "Eddy" Mahaffey; his children, Jeanette "Nikki" Pulling (Dave), Sandra Shirley (Benjamin), Joe Perez (Kari) and Jesse Perez; his brother Jerry Mahaffey (Violet); his grandchildren, Christa Jensen (Travis), Amanda Pulling, Megan Pulling, Zachary Pulling, Addison Mahaffey, Madilynn Perez, Brodie Perez and Tyler Perez (Dalia); and his great grandchildren, Grayson Jensen, Xander Mahaffey, Ace Mahaffey and Liana Perez.
