He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eugene Powell and Sarah Hixon Powell; and his brother George Powell. He is survived by: his wife Jo Nell Bucek Powell; his children, Julia Barrett (Lane) and Mark Antonio Powell; his stepchildren, Thomas Gibbons, Timothy Gibbons and Tina Beebe; and his siblings, Anna Mae Smith, Mary Estenson, Tom Powell, Wayne and Don. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
